Where to send for retrofit?

Hey everyone, I would like to do retrofit my headlights with TSX projectors (have from previous vehicle) but I am not sure who to go with. I know that there are three companies that are on TheRetrofitSource.com. I prefer not to do it myself.

Can all the members that have dealt with either of these companies give me some feedback and maybe some pricing to help me out?

Is anyone in the South Florida area that knows a good retrofitter that I can check as well?

thanks for the help!

Best name I've heard for good feedback is http://www.lightwerkz.net/ althoguh I don't have personal experience with them. Being the most experienced, they may charge more than others as well..

I did my retro myself but there's another member on here that got his retro done twice so he may be able to chime in here with more info and cost as well.

Another two companies are www.BlackFlameCustoms.com and www.CustomLightz.com

You can also go on HIDPLANET.COM/Forums and they have a forum with links to retrofitters (This may lead you to find someone local in your area and possibly even cheaper.

Yeah, I think it's creslayer who got it done twice. XRSized, do you have any pictures, tips, or advice for DIY retros? I know HIDPlanet has a lot of info in general, but since you did it with our car's lights...

I've been quoted a few times from 2 different guys...

TSX retrofit where the retro fitter supplies...
- Projectors
- Shrouds
- Ballasts
- Bulbs
- Wiring
- Labor etc...

was roughly $650-800 CDN

It can go cheaper if you have the Projectors and sub-components.

The Projector type makes or breaks the price.
S2000 retrofit is upwards of $1000
only because it is the most sought after Low-Beam projector.

I was thinking of getting the E46-R (Extended) shrouds. I would probably have to trim it to fit though. I think it would cover the whole low beam reflector probably.

I already have most of the components. I have the HIDs and projectors and I'm going to send my headlights that are on my car, unless I find a mint set for a good price.

So pretty much, I just need the labor.

I did blackflamecustoms great communication fast service too, turn around time 1-2 days. , i suggest getting quotes from each and see which you like best. they had experience doing retrofit in corollas you should ask the other companies or check their recently done retrofit this may help in overall turn out of the retrofit, also if you would want to come try mine and see how you like it , im using s2000 projectors,i recommend lexus RX-AFS or acura TL if they can fit in your housing, same in price also better performers that tsx.

i just sold my FXR retrofit 3 weeks ago to a member on here for only 430$ could have saved you alot:P shipping the headlights is not cheap

keep checking hid planet or ebay for s2ks you can get them for 200-250$ , iv seen some go for 200$ on ebay couple times. but its bit rare. s2ks are awesome literally 180*wide(light to the sides are very dim tho but noticeable), and super sharp but they are not as bright as my FXR however they are fun to drive with i do miss my bi xenon but wouldn't go back since the pencil beams drove me mad after awhile.
