Just recently bought a 2010 corolla for my wife. She loves it and has no problems with it. I on the other hand, drove it on a 100 mile trip recently and discovered that there is a slight distortion in the windshield at my eye level. I am 6'1" and sit a little higher in the seat than she does. The distortion starts about 2" from the top and stops at about 6" from the top. I goes from the drivers side to the passengers side but is very sllght on the passengers side compared to the drivers side. It's sort of like looking through a slight wave to where things appear to get scrunched a little. On short trips its not really a problem but on longer trips it leaves you with a swimmy (slight carsickness)feeling. I lowered the seat so I would not have to look through it, but then this also changes the arm and leg distance relationship so that my I am either reaching for the steering wheel (even telescoped) or my knees are up close to the dash.
My question is this, is this normal? Does your corolla have this same slight distortion? If it does, and this is just the way they are made I will just make the best of it. If not I will see what the dealer will do as we have only had it two weeks. Thanks in advance, ............Dan
