Talking Goodbye Corolla Hello 2011 Kia Optima SX

hey guys i thought i come here one last time to say goodbye as i moved on from my 09 Corolla S that i had slightly modified thanks to all the guys here who shared there modifications and gave me great ideas. I did post pics of my corolla which was modified by putting on HIDS, yellow fogs, smoked LED tail lights and lowered on Tien H techs which made the car alot better than it already was. I have moved onto the new 2011 Kia Optima SX turbo as you know our corolla for some of us are not that powerful enough for our needs including me and so i decided to look for a new car and came upon the car in which i own now which is to say that the car in all it's form fits my needs and exceeds in my expectations. so for one last time i want to thank everyone in this forum who i been with for a short time and here are some pics of my new ride.

What can I say?

The car looks really really good, it has the power, gets decent fuel economy (considering power) and has a lot of the styling features that Corolla has missed.

I hope it serves you well, and if the cars reliability resembles its looks, it could be a great car for you. The Kia and Hyundai companies seem to be really stepping up their game....if Toyota and Honda don't get with it they are going to be eclipsed soundly.

it's funny that you say that because the designer for the new optima came from audi so the designer took with him some audi cues and brought it to the new kia optima

Not sure I could leave Toyota for Kia, but as long as you are happy, congrats!

Might I ask why you traded in your 09 S? just due to power?

i owned my corolla for 2 years and had only 13,000 miles on it and when i first noticed the kia optima commercial i checked it out and notice that it has almost every luxury equipment you want in a car plus the 2.0 liter turbo. i got the car for around 32,000 and pay around 490 a month. This is my first kia and yes most people think kia is garbage but you know what you are about to be proven wrong because this car beats out all other mid size sedans and can be compared to the audi's bmw and mercedes plus i got the 6 or 7 year 100,000 miles warranty and 10 100,000 miles powertrain so i don't think there so shitty anymore i get rubber neckers starring at my car like it's from a different planet

Whoa, pretty pricey. Buy hey if you can afford it then awesome! I was considering forte as well since it was closer to price range but toyota was offering a 3 month grace period before having to make payments.
Honestly speaking, korean cars aren't really garbage. IMO when compared to toyota, the price tag was so tempting. I do think some korean cars lack in some areas such as originality (ie the older sonata and how the exterior was almost a previous accord's replica). Still, after the release of the Genesis Coup, there's been more respect for korean auto.
If my finances were a little better, I may have gone with either the matrix, forte sx, or fit.
Now let's wait for Blake Griffin to dunk over the roof of the optima rather than the hood.
