hi, am having problem with super clingy upholstery of my 2010 toyota corolla. It looks old and dirty. been to the dealer 2x but service tech told me if there are not enough complaints, he cannot guarantee that the problem will be resolved. anyone with similar dilemma?
I will agree with you that the interior of my Corolla attracts dust like no other car I've owned. The dash is the worst! I love the looks but to keep it clean is killer. Not sure what it is about the surface of the dash but it attracts dust like crazy and it's not as easy as other cars I've owned to wipe down.

now that you mentioned it, I realized that I'd been wiping my dashboard because it has this "dusty looks" but the seats are the worst! lints, dust, hair are all over the fabric!
i have tried cleaning with a lint roller (with bounce), vacuumed, swept with bristled plastic sweeper. checked our clothes versus others- they all have normal lints, our corolla vs my friend's and the dealer's display..our dealer did the usual fabric treatment but the problem is persistent..the issue will be submitted to Toyota Manufacturer but i was told that it does not guarantee anything...i'll have to wait and be patient..
Is the material different in the 10 vs a 09? My seats don't attract any dust at all on my 09 S. For the dash my Dashmat always looks clean & nice, no dusting required.

My 09 doesn't look too bad for the seats. Just the normal collections in the bottom/corners/etc, Vaccuum about 2 times a month and I'm good. As far as the dash, I wipe that sucker down prob 2 times a week, but I blame the trees/etc nearby for most of it.
I'm interested to hear if there is a recall for this. I've thought of seat covers, but not sure I trust the fitment to look good.

The best thing i have found for wiping down your dash and doors with is the absorber mini
and for the exterior absorber large....amazing products very soft so it wont damage or mess up interior parts.
@pinoyesv - i have the basic Toyota corolla black, not sure of trim(?). I have compared 2010 with 2008 corolla-my friends, somehow her's seemed smoother/softer to touch. Didn't know anyone with 2009. We also considered getting a carseat cover but that would be the last resort. Hopefully the dealer/toyota manufacturer would act on it as an isolated case if not a lot of people will complain..

on the 2009, the cloth they used for the seats are not good at all either.
