Need your input on tints

Hey guys, unfortunately I come from a state where it is illegal to have front door windows & the front windshield tinted and are only allowed to have the back windows tinted. I am looking to tint my back windows and need some good advice from fellow corolla owners. Since I can only tint the back windows, how do you think 5% tint would on a silver corolla s 2010? If not, what % tint do you think would be best, and if anyone have pictures they could share it would be very helpful.

EDIT: just realized that having a black interior may make it look darker... is 5% too dark you think?

Thanks in advanced!

I'm assuming you live in New Jersey since most states do at least allow the front visor to be tinted. Just check at tintlaws.com because I would definitely say get the front visor tinted if you can (or willing hehe). Also if you do, 15% works nicely IMO to give you some shade from blinding sun.
Just one thing I think you may want to consider is that if you make your rear window tint too dark without having any on front window, it won't look flush IMO. I personally like 35% though there are those who would say it's too light. In the end, it's all up to you. I'd ask around though and check out other people's tint if you can.

I got 35% all around on my 2010 S and it looks good and definitely helps with keeping the heat out. I paid a little extra and got the ceramic film and it was well worth it.

Tint laws are more like guidelines, but you should still know them for your state. In my state, you basically cant have any tint that doesnt come from the factory. However, Ive been skating around with 25% on the front windows and 15% on the back for over 2 years. Cops have even been behind me or pulled me over and never mentioned it. I like to think its because my car looks so good with it And I have an excellent driving record (mostly get pulled over for dumb stuff like dirty license plate, light out, lady cops trying to get my number )

I did however have to get an inspection for $175 under the table since most shops wont risk their license.

There are some states where tint laws are strictly enforced and others where they arent. I know of many people in my state who got tint tickets, but most of them had limo tint, or are just asshole drivers.
