Windshied wipers no longer intermittent

My windshield will not go intermittent any more. It crapped out this winter. I will have to bring it in for warranty repair. Anyone else with this problem?

Never had any wiper issues. :\

It's probably the switch (control module is part of it).

I stumbled into this detailed repair for the intermittent wiper problem mentioned above. Unfortunately a new wiper motor was required.

Mine work great but I also rarely need them on the highway since I always use a lot of Rain-X. I do love it though since I installed my variable int wiper stalk.

Variable intermittent? My old Grand Am had that and it kills me that my Corolla doesn't. How did you get that and what did it run you? Having 1 intermittent speed is driving me nuts!

And boo-yah for Rain-X. If beer wasn't my #1 gift from God, Rain-X would be.

Read through this thread. I posted pictures starting at post #44 when I did mine. It was super easy to do & worth every penny to me & it just makes my "S" more unique.

Yup, same problem, mine crapped out ... gotta love Canadian winters. Had to replace the motor, bought it used at a parts place and so far, so good ...
