Photosensor Location?

Does anyone know where the photosensor is that triggers the DRL to turn off and headlights to turn on in the dark? I wanna see if i can adjust the setting of when the DRL to night time light shift happens.

Right in front of you when you're driving. The small dome shaped thing in the front windshield defroster slot.

Good luck finding the adjustment. This have been discussed since '08 when the first 10 gen came out.

he is right, it is the 1" dome thing that's like a smoked red color by the bottom of the windshield where it meets the dash.

o.o I remember making my own photosensor. I'd think there would have to be some calibration piece since it'd be difficult for factories to make the same exact photosensor every time. Usually just a screw like thing... Definitely will look into it when I have time. Otherwise I can do the cheap thing and put some tint over it to make it seem like it's darker than it really is.
