Amplifier/Subwoofer Power Wire Isntall

Honestly guys, I have searched and searched and searched and searched for a place to run the power wire from the battery and in to the car, with no luck whatsoever.

i could not find a usable grommet or anything of that nature.

can somebody please give me a moderately detailed explanation as of where I can do this at, or a pictured DIY if it exists for our vehicle.

Thanks a ton, guys.

Check this thread. I believe what you're looking for is in the last few pictures on post #7. I searched "firewall". Hope this helps.

i ran mine in between the rubber piece with the bundle of wires running thru it and the two heater core lines on the drivers side. i didnt know if it was a good idea to disturb the rubber piece around those wires cause its made to seal around the wires so i drilled a hole and put a rubber grommet in the hole then caulked it with clear silicone caulk. hint: use a hole punch so the bit doesnt slide around and a small pilot bit to drill the hole then re-drill it with your big bit. make sure the bit is the diameter of the outside diameter of the hole in the grommet not the inside diameter. i have sri/cai and there was plenty of room to drill. if you have the stock airbox you might have to remove it.
