So I'm putting my foot down.

I'm going to be finishing off my exhaust with my Weapon-R Headers + S-Pipe this month when my parents will be leaving for a cruise for their 24th Anniversary

I'll be relocating my primary cat to my midpipe in addition to a 18" Vibrant Resonator.

--

I've also been toying with the idea of getting rid of the JBL and installing my old system that I saved from my Corolla S.

I'll be doing this too while they are gone

I just need some help on some things before I order my headunit. From what I understand the Scosche dash kit is the best of the best out there for fitment. I don't remember the pictures I found, but how does the finish match with the Xrs models, and the 2010 S models?

http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/product/1617

I'll be ordering from Crutchfield, found the H/U for $399

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVHP....html?tp=20217

My buddy has it in his Z and he loves it. I'll also be ordering the steering wheel controls from there, I'll be loosing the factory BT Capability, not too worried about that... never used it, and if I ever need it, this H/U is capable for it.

This is how it looked in my old S

Ohhh and Pen... you got something coming 'atcha.

Get the BT Version. I got the same deck, and it's $20 cheaper than the DVD you have, and $80 cheaper from crutchfield and you can get 2-shipping if your a prime member, and you get free prime if your associated with an .edu e-mail.

I love it, the BT works great, and the SD card in the front is nice for easy loading. The USB ports in the front work nice too. Plays DivX and more, can't so I don't love this unit.

As far as the dash trim, I'd go with a scosche, they are fine unless you have a Canadian model. Easy fitment

I'd never order from Crutchfield, they overcharge the crap out of price, and the only thing they are good for is customer support. If you need help wiring, let me know.

I do love the flush look, but I'll be removing the spacers most likely once I get the system in.

In this scenario, its gonna be function > form for me.

I'll be rubbing like crazy if I left them on there, luckily my brother will buy the spacers.

Its already ordered and shipped

Thanks for the advice though, the representative that helped was great. I also purchased the steering wheel harness. I wasn't really big on BT anyway.

^^^ Isn't it law where you live that you use hands free? In that case BT comes in very handy. I didn't think I would care about it but once I experienced it I was hooked.

No idea, but I rarely use the phone while driving. Theres always a BT add-on if I later decide to add it

if you dont rub your not low enough. i dunno. i have mixed feelings about rolling fenders. ive always just been accustomed to cutting the fenders. many a time i have rolled for friends, they still rub a little bit X_X there goes time that i can never reclaim.

Cut them and the get a fender roller to give them a slight flare....or flare them a touch =] i know its scary but after the first fender is off its a cake walk and you'll have mounds of confidence.

well done on your fitment. ive always gone flsuh on all my euros X_X this corolla is my first JDM car.
