Malfunction Power Door Lock (Driver Side).

Well the power door lock on the driver's side is at times not locking/unlocking when pressing the locking button in the driver's panel (not the remote).

Are there anything I should look into before bringing it in for repair? I know it will cost an arm and a leg @ the dealer

None and I don't think I know how to remove the door panel either...My car has only 69,000km and it's already broken

There is a DIY on here for door panel removal, but it may not help you if its an electrical issue. I was going to suggest checking the connections if you unplugged the control harness while changing the speakers or something, but I guess we can rule that out.

It could just be the switch. Should be pretty easy to change once the door panel is off. The door panel is pretty easy to get off, I took mine off when I installed Dynamat on my doors. I wouldn't hardly know if mine went out as I don't really ever use it.
