Check the Canadian Black book value. Or go take a search on Kijiji for similar models with similar mileage.

I used canadian black book, and as far as i know, its always more or less told what the trade in value is. Everyone i know, and so far everything i have seen, gets sold for about 25% more that the value shown on bb. Just personal experience. as it says the 2010 rolla sell for 13, which is not right. lol, i know the 09s are still around 16k

Sorry to tell you, $15K sounds reasonable. I have seen private sale price as low as 13K on a 09 S. Brand new 10 S (base option) is about $21000 tax included, so 15K sounds fair for a trade in. With the 11 already in the showroom, price will be lower too~! If you are lucky, I think you may get 16-16.5K with a private buyer.

well the ce, Base model is about 20, the S model is closer to 24-26, but i figure im gonna try for 18k as if it doesnt sell then i know, if it does, sweet. i still have about 15k to pay off haha. I could try trade in but theyll only break me even and id have 0 downpayment on the taco. Unless i can talk them into a deal and get em to knock 5K off =P

For 24k-26k, you can get a xrs! Go to the Toyota.ca webpage! The S cost 21k with base option! If u paid 24-26k for your S, you got rip off lol!

oh damn, sounds like i got a good deal with mine then. I got mines brand new loaded with bluetooth, jbl sound system, sun/moonroof and all that stuff for $17k out the door. So in my opinion i think 15k resale isnt too bad.

Canadian cars cost much more than US and are spec. different even if they are named the same. On top of that there's taxes and fees. Lots of.
