did anyone here completely replace their rear shock/spring assembly with something else? if so what did you replace it with, and do you still have the old shock/spring assembly?
Does this riddle mean you are looking for a strut?
the rears are not struts, they are CO's. but yes, i need a extra CO to do some testing with. i can pay for shipping and small price for the part, or, it can be a loaner and i can return the part, etc.

I'm selling all 4 of my struts/shocks and stock springs

are they assemblies (spring is mounted to strut/CO, etc)? what pricing are you looking for and from what year/model did they come off of?
Uhhh the springs arent mounted to the shocks/struts becuase i dont have the compressor. I'm looking to get 300$ for all 4 struts/shocks/springs. and they came off a 2010 corolla s. They got less then 10k miles on them since i switched to coilovers.

so now i am very confused. if you replaced the whole assembly then why would you take the springs off? can you post a pic of what your have.
ah, i see, so you re-used the s-tech springs or you sold those? i can offer $50 for your oem leftover stuff, but if you can get $300 for it then go for it, my offer will stand until i find alternative (salvage yards, private sales, etc). thnx.
with 10th gens having 3yr bumper-to-bumper who would be buying your leftover oem stuff?

but he still has them. i dont see used oem parts being a hot seller for an application that is still under warranty until 2012 (for 2009 vehicles) and later for newer vehicles. but like i said, if he can get $300 for the un-assembled set then more power to him, i am ok with that.

He is running coilovers now. Keep in mind, the stock struts are always a good backup for him in case anything happen to the coilovers. Not to mention, if he would like to sell the car in a later stage, the stock setup will get him a better chance to sell the car, perhaps more money too~!
I am not saying $300 is a fair price, but $50 is for sure not a price that one will consider.
