How to properly store car for a couple to few months?

Hi,

For my work, I was given a company car to drive since I was temporary placed to work at a city 2 hours away for the next 4 months. With this company car I am able to use is as my weekend grocery fetching car and I can use as a get around car also.

I was wondering, should I pull the battery out and just park it for the next 4 months? or should I start that car and drive up the street and back [2km total] atleast 1 time a week? The reason I am storing my car is the company is giving me up to 24,000 km to drive within the 4 months so I'll do all my driving with the company's car.

thanks,
chris

Add stabil to the gas tank, fill up all the way. disconnect the batter as well.

If it's practical, remove the wheels and put the car up on jackstands to prevent flatspotting from occuring in the tires.

I'm in sort of a similar situation, I'm going on vacation for a month and a half, would it be ok for my car to sit around for a month and a half without driving?

letting it sit for four months is a good while.driving it once a week is more ideal if you can do it just to keep everything from getting stiff and dried out
