Best product to remove tree sap

My 2010 corolla is super white with no clear coat. Unfortunately, my parking spot is under a big pine tree and with the day temperatures hitting triple digits here in FL, I started having some tree sap dripping on my car. What is the best product to remove this stuff? Since I have no clear coat on my paint, I don't have this extra layer or protection, so I want to make sure I can remove the tree sap, but not damage the paint...

how can you not have a clear coat? All new cars have clear coat.

Meguiars quick detail or turtle wax bug and tar remover should do the trick.

Single stage paint = no clear coat

And once you get the sap off don't park under the tree! Sap can damage the paint very quickly so it's not worth the risk so get the shade, find another place if possible.

Any bug & tar remover should also work just fine but make sure that you put some new wax on it since it will strip the old was off as you remove the sap.

This is what I use to remover sap, tar, leftover glue and wax before I wax my car. Safe on plastics and mostly all paints. You can buy the Nason Silicone and Wax remover at many auto parts store. Norton also carries similar products and the high end RM line was discontinued because of the high volatility/toxicity and the new laws/reform with water based paints. I bought mine at UAP NAPA in Canada.

Best stuff for the job, don't forget to wax again since it removes wax.

edit: a gallon runs around 23 to 30$ CAD, good for a VERY long time.

X2 for goo gone...I have a Pine tree in my yard that hovers over the driveway. it's cheap and does the job for small spots. Clay bar for large areas...just alittle more work.
