Anybody want camshafts? (2ZR only.)

I'm just wondering, with the RPM Headers and Midpipe finishing up soon, a few of us will be running out of parts to put on our 'rollas. At this point we're all but limited to the exhaust, heads, intake, and NST pulleys.

So, who'd be interested in getting some stage 1 or mild stage 2 cams made? Pretty much the only other goal I have in mind, performance wise for the Corolla, is an eManage Ultimate... which would also work great with some cams.

If we spread this across the forum as well as the xB Yaris and Vibe boys I'm sure we could get enough people interested to get at least a half-way reputable company to hook us up. So what'cha think guys?

Intake mani doesn't do well with n/a cars ... power to money ratio is wack .. like 7hp tops for 1k .. I dnt think ult. Emanage is that necessary either. Fine with jst an emanage.. but yea I'm down with a stage 2.. get some high comp pistons ... but most of all ii want valve springs!

xD!

I'd consider some stage 1 cams but honestly how much gain could we expect? I dont know if 1K for just parts that fully installed only get us a few ponies, would be very worth while for us or any company.
Any plans on who might make them for us??

Also I agree with what xD_kidd said in the RPM header thread, there's alot of talk but not many people that will back it up with $$$... maybe a smaller budget increase would be far better. For example pistons and such..
Yeah Super charge/ turbo would be awesome but not many have the cash to spend on one nor for tuning.. Another thing we have to look at is its an econo box they've got to be pretty simple to get done or non-consequential otherwise there just wont be sales...

But if you can find someone interested I'm sure there will be TN members there to rep and stand behind you!

Cams is a pretty good mood and sounds vicious.. untuned can get us about 3-5 horses and after a tune.. like 10-15hp ii believe.. its pretty good gain and u'll be happy how it sounds on idle and esp when we butt dyno it lol but the catch is having it tuned. That can get pricey.. but I'm down for cams nd pistons.. valve springs wld hit the spot though. ]Redlining at 7.5k =) lol

Guess that settles it, I'll start contacting companies to see if anyone's interested.

The only company I know of is Crower. Can anybody name some others?
