Center stack removal

Ok, I'm planning on doing two things (maybe three):

1) Installing a new head unit like the Rosen or similar
2) Custom gauge pods
3) Quick shifter

So my question is what is the best order/method to remove the center stack panels to get behind everything? I examined the dash and it seems that I would start at the top where the vents are, then move my way down. While I'm in there, I will be tapping into the 12V plug so I might as well do the quick shifter too. I didn't want to start tugging on stuf and end up snap, crackle and pop. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!!!

i start with the thin trim pieces that go along the center console. starting at the bottom by the shifter and working your way up.

if you are doing the vent and the radio, remove the vents and work your way down.

if you are doing the pocket door and the aux panel, start by the shifter trim and work your way up.

Nice, I live in Hagerstown but work in Reisterstown, Baltimore. Needless to say I'm going to rack 30K miles a year on my car.

Out of 80 miles one way approximate 10 miles are local. I'm averaging 32-34MPG. I bought my car on the 12th of July and I already put 1600 miles on it.

10k miles is less than the average 12k-15k miles a year that most people drive.
