any suggestions for my "11" corolla??!!

i just bought my first toyota last week. a 2011 corolla s. dark gray...I LOVE IT!!

but anywho..
i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on modifying it.
i found some interior lights i want (colored)...

im torn on the exhaust....which is better on the corolla Borla or Magnaflow? (boyfriend says Borla, brother says Magnaflow) i dont want that bumble bee stuck in a can sound.

we were looking into 18in wheels w.the smoked/black look??

how hard is it to install HID headlights on the corolla's?? or to maybe tint the headlights and taillights?? (i think i want to go with the tint personally)

also would it be worth anything to put a cold air intake on it?

i have thought about lowering it...but due to where we live that has to wait.
i really havent seen much on the 2011's and what all can be done to them.
we are wanting to eventually make it show worthy along with our 06 mustang...(mustang is his toy, the corolla is mine!)
anything will help me... new to what can be done to the corolla's. we many deal with mustangs...so its a different boat going from a v8 to 4-cylinder!

Congratulations on your purchase as well! Your color is known as Magnetic Gray Metallic aka MGM.

A few of us have HIDs on here, but I wouldn't recommend it because our headlight housings are designed for halogen bulbs, and you'll get alot of glare and not a straight cut-off for those.

I personally wouldn't tint the headlights since it would reduce your light output and since you already have the S model with black housing, why tint it? The tails are fine, but not a black out tint.

Many of us here have aftermarket intakes, Short Ram or Cold Air, its pretty much each to their own, There are plenty of discussion threads if you just search for 'em

If your afraid of lowering it too much, go with TRD springs, it has a subtle drop to it, levels the car out, and the way it makes the car looks, it looks like how it should of came factory due to the '4x4' stance the Corolla's come stock with.

Making it show worthy, I think a good drop and some nice wheels will definitely set it off. Stance just gives that wow factor!

thanks for the hints. new to the car site thing!! LOL trying not to bug the boyfriend...but i finally figured out the search!!

with the HID's we have it on our mustang and love it...specially just the look it gives off with the fog lights as well...just kinda wanted opinions on it!!
i DONT want the black out tint....just something light.

Thanks for the tip on lowering... we were thinking of going TRD route.but wasnt sure if it was the best or not....but that will be awhile, until we move...live on 7miles of dirt road!!

personally i would not go with TRD lowering. just a waste of money and effort because it doesnt show much that the car has been lowered.
