Hey, im new to TN i've always looked at this site 4 ideas && help. So I finally registered today!
btw I had a question. Can a dealer say anything for having a sri intalled?
The reason I ask is because my intake doesn't have a carb sticker n i have 2 get the oil changed lol
Thanks!

only thing to worry about is smog and cops popping hoods. hood popping is highly unlikely unless you were driving 90+
But the best thing would be to be to get a sticker from a carb approved intake like Injen or K&N and stick it on yours.
Where can u find just the sticker? n both those brands had pending as well tho.. n im kinda confused now. Should just take the car 2 the dealer like that or remove the sri?
i'd just take it and see what they say. they shouldn't say anything for a simple oil change. but if they do then i would change it and take it back, or find another dealer.

I purposely waited for my oil change before I installed my Takeda SRI. I kept the stock intake, and it's really not that hard to replace. I'd like to hear the word on this. Please let us know about your results
Yep, it's still better than nothing if you cannot located a legit legal carb sticker.
It's common because the process of carb approval is expensive and tedious for most aftermarket companies, hence the "pending" label.
Contact the companies directly...so far, none of the intakes available for the Corolla have the EO. The state is in a mess, and CARB probably has a lot of issues right now, so legalizing aftermarket intakes is the least of their concerns.

My dealer told me that having the Takeda SRI would not really affect any type of warranty claim compared to the stock air box.

The dealer said it was no problem as long as the intake didn't get in the way of anything. So went & got it done ! the wait sucked 1 hour & 15 mins. and then they put the wrong sticker on the windshield for the next service so i hit a u-turn & went back n the guy asked me 2 open the hood so he could get me a new sticker. he got me a new 1 n then a few mins later the dealer called me & told me he left the hood open..
