on a small naturally aspirated engine, the gains would be minimal. the gains are far more substantial on larger engines with big turbos or superchargers. this is due to the cooling effect of the injection that helps cools down the superheated intake from the compression in the turbo or supercharger. an intercooler can only do so much.

not even worth it. dont even look into it. even if you were to turbocharge your car, i dont think it would be worth spending the money for tuning and buying this type of kit.

how did you come about a water/alcohol kit? if you want more power and can afford it, just put your name down for the turbo kit that jim is working on with turbokits.com

the corolla is an economical car. if you want 200whp, then more power to you, but your mpg will go down. instead, sell it and get a car that can benefit from engine mods.

I just know they use it for turbo cars like STI and Evo but after reading the products page it said it could be used for naturally aspirated cars. So for $300 something for the kit plus installation maybe under 1k I would not mind paying that. Spending the money on the turbo for my car would not be worth it. Next year I plan on buying a 2012 STI and my Corolla will go to my brother. I guess I will leave the car alone. Thank you for the response.

yeah, it can be used for N/A cars, but for PERFORMANCE N/A cars. you arent going to feel a difference in a Corolla. Like I stated before, toyota made this vehicle for economical driving. higher mpg, less power.

the kit in N/A cars helps cool down the cylinders so you can add more timing and or run a leaner a/f. those are the benefits. you are more than welcome to try to "add" power to your Corolla, but its just disappointing for the money. IMHO.

its a cool idea for these guys that are working on the turbo kit. they wanna have a little more power in their Corolla. to each their own, but i bought this car to get from A to B, with the most MPGs. If i want power, I can jump into a car that has some horsepower.
