Thoughts about this?

I've seen plenty of the dark plastic ones but i like this one. how do y'all think that it will look on a 2011 MGM? it's got the chrome on the back trunk lid so i think it would look pretty sweet. other colors i would maybe go with the black plastic but i think the MGM would look good with the polished aluminum. thoughts?

and how well do the factory mud guards work?
we're going to be using my car as the travel car so i would like to protect the bumper from luggage and such, and we're probably going to Gatlinburg for our honeymoon new years eve so i would like to protect the paint from the salt on the road with the mud guards.
thanks for your input

I think it will look fine. It looks like its good quality. There's a lot of shiny trim haters but its your car. There's a matching set too http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Corol...item19c7b36cd2.

As far as the mud guards, I don't have them but I think if you have an S model it will not work with the mud guards. Search the threads because I've seen this discussion somewhere.

Luckily in this part i just have an LE lol and i usually hate shiny trim especially the ones on the window's and stuff but i like that brushed steel look since that's probably what my wheels will look like. I'm not a big fan of chrome but it the car has some on it i usually try to go the metal route. now on your car color i would probably go the black plastic, i think that polished steel would look pretty good on my MGM. If it was chrome i wouldn't even consider it lol

Doesn't look too bad, I'd think it would look better on a SuperWhite or ClassicSilverMetallic, but it should look good on a MGM IMO as well.

I have the black factory ones on mine and must say it is a very nice to have to protect paint on the bumper. I feel you can over do it with the chrome or silver on the cars but I think if moderation is used they look good on the MGMs.
