Did the dealership order the right parts?

Hey guys,

I went to the dealership today to get my AUX output fixed because I've been having that problem where it does not recognize my AUX cord and keeps switching back to the radio every time I hit a bump. The guy told me that the problem is the AUX output is probably loose on the inside or broke so they will switch the whole thing out. (for free due to my warranty)

So they ordered the parts and he told me they would come in a couple of days. But looking at the list of parts they ordered I'm hoping he didn't order the wrong parts because I see nothing on the list talking about AUX output. Here is the parts and the part # if anyone is an expert with these type of things please confirm that this is the correct parts for it. THANKS!

Part # 85535-0C040-C0 Cover, Power Outl

Part# 85530-06030 Socket Assy, Powe

I hope he's not thinking I was talking about the power outlet you plug your GPS or phone charger into. I made it clear I was talking about the AUX.

Sure seems like he ordered the wrong parts.
Under warranty right? At least you won't have to pay for it. Stinks your problem won't be fixed for a little while more.

You could just get a new headunit(aftermarket) and install it yourself with a wire harness in 20minutes and have even better sound and iPod/iPhone integration. Seems to me if listening to music is important to you, you'd want to upgrade from the craptastic OEM sound system to something aftermarketthat provides some quality sound.

Yeah that looks like the right part Jeff. Man i wished i looked at the paper closely while I was there. I'll give them a call tomorrow and try to explain to them that they ordered the wrong parts for my problem.

Well so I called them this morning and explained to him how I believed that they ordered the wrong parts. I also clearly stated that it was the AUX port I was having problems with not the Power outlet. He said that the techs looked at it and said that was the problem and they ordered the correct parts. ...I really hope he's right because I do not feel like going back n fourth.

well...if i look at the bright side...at least I don't have to pay for anything..but still

*crossing fingers* hoping this guy knows what he's talking about..
