So I've made some brackets to hang the Hella Horns lower so you can see them through the grille, and this way they're centered.
Supplies:
- Aluminum Strip
- M8 1.25x20mm Hex Bolts
- M8 1.25 Hex Nuts
- Drill
- Any kind of tool to cut metal (I used a circular saw)
- Patience and Time
Cost for this project: $6.56
Here is how the stock brackets look:
1. Using your drill, make a hole large enough for the bolt to fit through.
2. Take the one of the horns and attach it to the aluminum.
3. Then just measure how low you wanna go and mark it. I made sure it was centered in the grille.
4. Go ahead and make the cut where you marked it using your cutting tool.
5. Make the second hole on the other side.
6. Go ahead and make your matching bracket. I used tape and a pencil to make the tracings. (I know the holes are off center, I just messed up the first time, so I just made 'em much for the rest of the holes lol. Its better if you make 'em center, but I had no problem mounting them.)

7. Go ahead and mount the horn to the bracket, then mount it to the car.
Can you notice the difference?
8. Mount the other side and your done!
It started getting dark, so I also used my 'engine work light'!
I'll be making a DIY for this soon too.
And were done! Oh and the thanks button is right below this post
