I'm going to be getting a new HU soon and so I need a new xm receiver, however, I don't wanna install a new antenna; so I've found this

Would that work in my 2010 Corolla?

you would need the shark fin, then cut a hole in the roof for it, which IMO would look bad with 1 shark fin antenna already there

Not sure about yours but our car already have them. If you have a shark's fin on roof, that's the sat. antenna.
Search this forum or youtube for DIY installation.

No no no, this just takes the square connector off the Corolla's stock satellite antenna and converts it to the thing that most aftermarket receivers use. I know it says for Lexus, but I think this would work with the Corolla, it's the same plug...

Most aftermarket receivers usually need another antenna and can't use the stock one because of the plugs.

Quote:
This adapter will allow you to use the sharkfin antenna that comes standard on some Lexus vehicles with an aftermarket satellite radio. It is compatible with 2007 and up Lexus IS or LS vehicles. The perfect way to integrate satellite radio into your Lexus without compromising the look of your car. This adapter can be used for both XM and Sirius satellite radio. It features 12-foot of cable and a SMB plug connector at one end that directly connects to your satellite radio receivers car dock.
