I personally got the fujita intake. cheapest short ram intake I could find since in my opinion I believe they all have the same function.
just my opinion~

I did a lot of research before buying the Takeda. I was one of the first to have the Takeda & many of use use it now. I love it & don't regret it at all. Performance is similar for all the different brands. Here are the reasons I bought the Takeda.
1. Best looking SRI IMO.
2. Came with a heat shield, many don't.
3. Uses a dry filter, I didn't want an oiled filter like K&N.
4. Reasonable price.

likely the best advice you will get. save your $$$ and stay OEM. spend your $$$ on something else.
Well that is the most boring advice.
I always say don't take food off the table but if you have a fun account for your disposable income than everyone has to have some fun. I enjoy spending time & money on my cars but it's always the last money I spend. My wife & I save $1800/month for retirement & savings. I also pay an extra $800 in principle on my mortgage every month. You always pay yourself first but we must all have fun & there is nothing wrong with spending some money on your car.

yeah reasonable enough. tnx. but is there any disadvantage having a cold air intake during winter time? just curious.

better off 1st by using that $$$ for something that actually provided benefit. like a cross bar(s), or better wheels or brakes, maybe better headlamp bulbs, maybe tint, etc. he didnt say "i have lots of $$ to burn so what can i do?".

what is "winter" for you? is it always outside in Phili? it takes a tad longer for the motor to get hot. dual inlets to the oem box, one smaller one that grabs air from inside the engine bay, and another larger one that scoops from the grill (cai) will give best balance.
why exactly are you wanting one of the overpriced air thingy's ???
I LOVE my SRI. Taco, you gotta tone down. It's your opinion t hat the SRI is not worth the money and by all means, if they ask for opinions, state yours and give your reason, but don't bash others' opinions.
I am looking at getting one for my wife's 3.

I bought the Takeda for many of the same reasons as Jim (Supercharged) but he may have left a big one out: it sounds awesome.
I didn't get it because of its performance enhancement (I haven't measured any). I got it because it looks dang cool and sounds good.
