You need to install a resistor. They say to buy "SMD" bulbs but it still isn't good enough.
I personally installed "6OHm 50W" resistors and I get a nice synchronized blink pattern with the dash indicators.
Also if you do get resistors or already have them, make sure if they heat up alot not to mount it on the plastic, but to drill it onto the cars interior metal plate to prevent the trunk carpet from melting! Good Luck!
So wondering... I have the LED Flasher relay in to get rid of the hyper flash, but now the car doesn't flash when I lock/unlock the car? What can be the problem here? Is it because of the new relay?

I believe so. When I was reading about the flasher somewhere I think I remember seeing that. I think that's the benefit of using the resistor instead.

They sell a newer flasher that allows the lock/unlock function to work.

Link to that part?

Some places refer to it as a CF19 flasher, others call it a 2nd-gen or updated CF18. I'd just make sure where ever you order from, they list it as having working lock/unlock.

Wonder if you could tell the location of this flash relay in the car.
