Accessory power access point

Does anyone know of an accessory power access point at the driver's area of a 2011 S? I am installing some lights and need power when the ignition is acc or on.

Thanks much!

you can tap the 12v from the ciggarette lighter itself, or you can find the fuse box on the lower left side of the steering wheel column and trace the ciggarette lighter to its fuse, and there you will find 12v power.

i installed my footwell lighting by tapping through the cigarette lighter directly

if youre looking for some power directly under the steering wheel column , then i dont know.
but those two suggestions are for: to the left or right of the steering wheel column

I was hoping for a tap down by the driver's footwell area behind the kick panel. But the cig lighter will do fine too. Thanks.

The fuse box is down there. Get your DMM out and find a fuse that's hot on acc or run. Now make sure you find the side that is after the fuse and shove a wire in there then replace the fuse.

I did this when I needed a remote turn on for an amp before I got an aftermarket headunit.

Hate tapping the fusebox like that but that does give me another idea. Thanks.

I find these are the easiest way to tap into fuse block...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATC-Add-Circuit-Line-Fuse-Plug-Block-Tap-TSI-/160536993939?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2560c0 2093

keeps the original circuit fused and adds another fuse for whatever you may be installing

Those help but still not not what I was hoping for.

I did however find that the power to the power side-mirrors was accessory, so I tapped into that. Perfect, right next to where I mounted the switch (in one of the blanks) for the LED strip lights I mounted under my headlights.

Thanks all for replying.
