Welcome to TN!

Nice combination of cars. What do you have done to that Corvette?

Believe it or not until Saturday the Corvette WAS my daily driver. She has 112000 miles on her. Mods include a Z06 intake (a few HP extra over the stock base model intake) and a 3.15 gearing ratio in the automatic transmission (taller gears, a bit faster acceleration) and some better speakers. She has balding tires, a clunking left muffler and scratches, nicks and cracks. I was lucky enough to finally be able to take out another auto loan to buy the Corolla. Believe it or not, the Corvette can get 30 mpg on the highway, but that's not the 40 mpg I can get from the 5-speed Corolla.

LOL, how does one go from driving a Corvette daily to driving a new Corolla daily.... must be old age lol. Welcome nonetheless! You gonna mod the Corolla? I think some lowering suspension and wheels are in order

No, no mods on the Corolla. I drove that Corvette through too many Wisconsin winters and over too many lousy Wisconsin roads and potholes to want to lower something that DOESN'T SCRAPE everything I drive over. I'm going to drive the Corolla until the apocalypse and mod the Vette instead.

to TN. Give yourself some time. I said the same thing when I bought my Corolla 3 years ago since my Supercharged MR2 was my DD. I've since enjoyed modding my Corolla but keeping it looking like it should be stock. You can lower it a little with TRD or Eibach springs that will improve the looks & handling a lot but not affect your winter driving issues.

Enjoy your new Corolla & that was a good choice buying the 5-speed manual! FTW!!!!
