Morning Chirp

Hello everyone.
I am a new Toyota Owner and just got my wife a 2010 Corolla CE
I am finding in the mornings when we start the car we get a chirp(like a loose belt).
Can someone tell me what this might be?
Am I right about the belt and if so is it hard to replace?

Get them to check the serpentine belt, it may need to be adjusted.

Is it an automatic or manual transmission?

If the belt is fine and you still get the noise, spray some belt dressing on while the car is running the night before and see if it goes away. If it is a belt, which likely in good condition, colder weather mornings like what you see up north will harden the rubber unitil it warms up. Starting up the car in the morning will give the belt rapid change with little traction.

My Corvette did this as the old A/C belt was going out. One day it shredded into four or five pieces! For a long time, on cold or humid mornings it would chirp or squeal until it warmed up.

Also, don't put TOO much belt dressing on, or the belt could slip completely off! Had it happen before!

I had the belt checked and they said they could not see anything wrong with it.
I guess I will try the belt dressing?

Did you leave the car with them overnight so they could start it up cold?

No I did not.
I didn't want my wife to be without the car.

Mine chirps only when the car has been sitting
It didn't chirp until I had it changed by Toyota
I gave it back to them and they said they adjusted it but it still chirps.
Ah well. The adjustment they did, at least it doesn't squeal like it did before the adjustment. It would squeal as if it wasn't changed (but I checked and I know it was).
