2009 Corolla aux not working.

Hi all!

Just a question I just got my Corolla S a week ago not knowing that the aux wouldn't work I bought a cable and to my suprise it didn't work. I push the aux button with the cable inside and nothing. The radio works the cd player works just the aux doesn't it doesn't even go to aux mode.

I do want to fix it without have to tear my stereo apart.

Anyone have this problem?

1. You may have to tear it apart just to check if it is connected. If you got this car used, the previous owner may have had an aftermarket deck in and just forgot to attach the aux in.

2. Or...the aux really is broken and you have to go to Toyota and get a new part.
