i just wanna share this to you guys.
ok so i went to the dealer yesterday for my wifes highlander inspection. while waiting, walked around the lot and saw this yellow 2012 tc, the good stuff...and i cant take my eyes off it. so after the inspection, called my salesman and i said i want that tc to trade my 2010 corolla. i went home, took all my stuff out my corolla and went back to the dealer to get the tc. evreything was ready, car is out, paper works.......but .......(guess what?) still went home with my corolla. monthly was much morewhich i expect and its kinda ok....but its the interest that kills me......i was about to take it but its just too much. and now im online just looking at the pictures of that tc.
soooo close....if i only have that money and not even worry about the payments...
Your not alone I almost did that with a Tc in late 08 and I had pretty much the same verdict as you when it came to taking that car home. Btw I owned a yaris hatch at the time.

If you thought the tC was that impressive wait until you drive the FR-S.
+1
Save some more money until the Scion FR-S goes on sale (Spring 2012). You'll trade the 'Rolla in a heartbeat, and not even consider a tC.

I would of gotten it over the 10th gen corolla if it came to Canada abit earlier but I am Happy with my Corolla as I prefer 4 doors even thought I rarely have passenger in the back seat ... I use the back seat to leave things like winter coat when driving or things I carry around that I don't wanna put in the trunk for that short trip
I agree with others wait until the Scion FR-S comes out!! ... pics of it looks nice and good performance wise compare to the tC for a good price
Man, after looking at pics today and reading articles, I can't wait. Already called the local dealership asking about a ship date. They can't confirm any dates yet, just said mid to late '12. that's for the FR-S and the FT-86(GT-86(Euro) or just 86(Jap)). 200hp NA 2.0L, 6sp man, 2800lbs, and RWD...I'm SOLD! Specs just keep running through my head. I can already see myself shifting through the gears.
