Hey everyone, so last week I met up with xangelox15 and kenforum for a little bit and took a few quick pictures while I was in LA for christmas. I didn't have my car with me at the time so thats why there are no pics. Well I'll keep the talking to a minimum and get to the pictures. Here they are, enjoy.

Dim, you should really get them 18"! IMO they are simply much bigger than 17" visually and are the right size for the corolla since our cars are "thick" (or "tall", I don't know how to describe it lol)

I agree that both cars look nice.
I was thinking just the opposite on the wheels though. I was thinking the 18" wheels look too big with too little sidewall on the tire. I think the 17" size looks perfect with a little more meat on the tire sidewall.

IMO I don't like too much meat... If I'm not mistaken... isn't the XRS tire size low profile for the stock 17"?
Very true about us each having our own taste. Ever since I started reading tire tests & found out that handling gets worse when plus sizing too much. On the Corolla the 225/45R17 has the best combination of handling, looks & ride IMO & from what I learned being in the tire business years ago. The XRS has 215/45R17 tires stock. And I agree, I don't like too much meat either. I think that the stock 205/55R16 tires are just a little too meaty & the 225/40R18 is a little too thin while the 225/45R17 is just right.
