I am looking at this particular flip key fob from ebay. I asked the seller if it is compatible with a Corolla key, but they said no. Can anyone confirm this? Because they look the same to me. I haven't held up one next to another though to compare more in detail. Maybe I will call the dealer tomorrow to confirm.
yeah shft helped me with guiding me through mine...you have to cut out the chip within the stock key and its actually simple to do if you have a dremel...I destroyed my original key haha
but all the buttons just swap over...I have to warn you though...my key is actually a little wobbly cause the metal part is missing a small screw but yall should be fine I guess I dropped them too much and it fell out
I have that. You'll need to gut your stock key and switch out the buttons and transponder from the stock one.
Thanks for the confirmations. The look of the metallic buttons and sides are more appealing to me than this style. The seller I linked isn't selling to my shipping address for whatever reason. Greg's seller is on vacation until February, so I will order it then and let you guys know how it turns out.

To Do: , LED Tails, Vinyl Roof, Oval Muffler Tip, DVD/Nav System, 18" Rims
Just need a small flat screw driver and sharp knife/box cutters (to take out the transponder). A dremel would make it much easier to remove the transponder than a knife though.
