well there are plenty of threads about intakes. DIY intake just removes the snorkel to and others include. Weapon R (2 versions), Fujita, Takeda, K&N, Autozone, custom, injen, etc. all great options and any are an improvement.

To the OP, with the CAI, what is it that you are wanting to accomplish with it? Maybe that can help us answer your question more? Are you looking at better fuel economy? Do you like the "Ricer" sound? Are you looking for more horsepower? Tell us why you want a CAI and then maybe we can help a little more.

If you add some goodies to make it handle better, add some more responsiveness & personalize it you will be amazed at how much more enjoyable your Corolla can be to drive.
