there is no feel what-so-ever.... my last car had no ps, just rack and pinion, and it was amazing. the eps is one of the worst parts of the car. second only to the dbw.
Weird, I never have felt negatively about the drive-by-wire or the EPS. I'm glad it's EPS - no power steering fluid to change/check for leaks. People seem to generally rag on the drive-by-wire for its "lack of response" but I've learned my 2010 S' throttle response vs. pedal throw and I can't say I would ever need to spend money on a throttle controller.
To each their own I suppose.

Not looking forward to the infinity’s ideas. But then again, I probably couldn’t afford the car anyways. lol
Ill have to upload a video or something about the steering. Nothing really can be done about it anyways so I don’t know why I even bother ragging on the steering. It is what it is I guess.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. I love the way my car handles. I don't mind the eps at all. I think it's great.
The only difference I notice on my 2013 is at lower speeds it's extremely easy but so what? If there's a bump in the road I still feel it thru the steering wheel, if the road is uneven I still see and feel it thru the steering wheel. If I run over someone I'm sure I will still feel and know it even if I wasn't looking at the road and had my eyes closed (It's not my fault that guy wasn't in a crosswalk he came out of no where I swear!). I drive a lot of highway miles and it does tighten up when going 60+ mph. You will get use to it and it will be 'normal' after awhile. I personally don't see what your looking for by having harder steering? I can still feel everything. Also you can try getting a good set of tires.
Very true. I got myself a 2013 in November and I'm completely used to it now. I don't even think about the electric steering. You might even tend to like it!
If you do not like EPS, just wait. Infinity now has steer by wire on the road in Japan...soon to come to the USA I assume.
Late, the 370z has electic steering, clutch and gas pedals. Don't quote me but I think it was the brake too. Drive that car, it sucks dick. It's like playing a video game with a clutch pedal softer then air istelf. The steering is not bad but still would rather it be hydrolic for the better feel

Said by someone that doesn't have a throttle controller! The thing that people forget is that it allows you to change the throttle response for different conditions. I'll bet if you felt it on my car you would change your mind.

Nissan does not have it yet. They use EPS on the 370Z. They are hoping to have it next year along with Infiniti as it is the same system.
