My 2013 corolla coming along....

Since I love tinkering with my cars and enjoy reading what people do with their cars I figured I'll share mine.
The day I picked up the car (last Sunday).

First came the tint and remote starter.

Then I installed satellite radio in my glove box.

I did the auto/drl mod.
I changed the fogs to yellow.
Then I installed some flashing lights ( I'm a volunteer firefighter)

Work in progress.

Very nice!

Police/Fire lights on a Corolla, that might be a forum first.

did you install the remote starter in addition to the factory installed alarm? or did you take the factory installed alarm out? Is that the LE Corolla with the 8 way adjustable seat?

Yes the remote starter is addition to the factory alarm. And yes it's a le with 8 way seat, sunroof, electronic climate control, moonroof.

Which remote start did you use to where you didn't have to remove the factory installed alarm?

I put the viper 2 way remote starter. 2 way meaning it gives me a confirmation that the car actually started. I didn't need to mess with the factory remote or put a key under the dash like some systems require. It's a bit pricey but worth it. It was $350 including installation, the one without the 2 way confirmation is $300.
