This was fun to see. When I went up to Mt. St. Helens today I had stopped at the top of the pass to take some pics. When I start up my Scanguage2 always records MPG from that point. The next 6+ miles were downhill & it was amazing to see the MPG reading go up a lot farther than the Corolla readout can show. As I saw the MPG go up it was interesting to see the coolant temp drop & the outside temp go up as the elevation dropped.
The first pic I took as the MPG readout was higher then I had ever seen it!
Over 600 mpg!
Over 700 mpg!
Over 800 mpg & still going up!
I can't believe my eyes as it passes 1200 mpg!
This was peak at the bottom of the hill, over 1600 mpg as the road levels out.
This where I ended up when I was getting back on I-5 southbound.....60 mpg. I might have to try this in my Prius & see what I get!

On your second screen, I see your low tire pressure light is on, so I would recommend you put some air into your tires. Maybe you would get an even better reading.

It stays on when I have my winter tires on as I don't transfer my TPMS each time I switch my winter & summer tires. Most people using winter tires just live with the light, no big deal.

I think its outrage at hearing this news? He's jealous of the mpg? I'm lost too... Then again I never watched Dragonball-Z
Me either, that's why I don't had a clue what it's supposed to mean.

I seriously wonder why the MPG reading can go as high as 9,999 lol.
Not sure how it means "over 9000" but okay. That's the instant readout & goes to that when you are going downhill & are off the throttle since you aren't using any gas in a full vacuum mode.

Yeah, but I'd think 99 MPG would be just fine lol.
Most of the that is true but it is nice having at least 3 digits to see how high it goes. Since the Scangauge2 can be used for all types of cars though it needs more then 99 MPG for electric & hybrid cars. I just thought that it was fun to see what happened with the readings since I started at the top of the hill. If I had some regular driving before heading down it never would have been that high.

Nice. i was happy with getting a solid 34.x MPG from Albany to Portland and back tonight.
On a side note how much hotter does your intake temps run than ambient? I was thinking I just changed my scangage to show LOD and ambient, and noticed that my intake temps were about 10-15 f hotter than the toyota ambient (which is 5+f hotter than a house gauge).
basically i think i will put the plastic piece and the flex tube back on and pipe to the fender to see in cold air helps out my MPG a little. no reason in the rummer ot run 20+ deg above ambient. this also may have something to do with my having an upper grill block off.
also here is the reference explained. humor not wasted on this one.
