See if you can find the answer on Page 207 of your Paper manual............
The manual just states that you can power on or off the audio system via the "MODE" switch. Mike Gerber's problem was a little different. Quote:" pressed the mode button on the steering wheel controls of my 07 XLE (non nav) JBL audio system and accidently muted the radio and the Bluetooth connection. I couldn't figure out how to get the sound back on so I tried turning the audio system off and then back on, but it didn't help." Notice he said it muted the radio/bluetooth. What actually happened was he turned the unit off. Now here's the kicker. He said he tried to turn on the radio and it wouldn't turn on. It should have (I've duplicated this on mine and you can turn on the radio via "mute" button or power button. He evidently had glitch or problem because he apparently couldn't power up the unit. Your first reply was no help to him at all, it implied that there was a "MUTE" function when actually all you are doing is powering down the unit. These forums are suppose to help people with their Camry issues. Smart As*** answers aren't appreciated. Go MUTE yourself (this is said with some humor and not meant to start a flame war or the such). In other words, please lighten up
