i gave it a "little push" and mine didn't latch, but it didn't bounce back
I probably man-handled the door - maybe my littleest push was too strong... it is very objective - you push could be with more/less force than my push or some other guy's push - my best suggestion is for you to go to the toyota dealer this weekend go into the showroom - try to make your way to an 07 camry without beign harassed by atleast 3 salespersons & try to give the same push to their back door as you do to yours...and lets go from there
