Canada

It is the same size as the double din slot. It has been redesigned at all corners with half circles. You will have to wait until the current companies make a new plate for your aftermarket stereo. The new stereo is nice but not a good as my Alpine system.

I am enjoying this car more everytime I drive it.

Just order the surround made for vehicles with navigation, no cutouts and a rectangular hole.

EDIT:

I don't own a Matrix, it was just a suggestion for something to check out.

You can still install a new head unit/dvd no problem....You can use the brackets off the stock unit and get a Toyota wire harness......The thing we're all waiting for is just a peice that will pop into the panel to hide the gaps and fill the rounded corners.

I chatted with crutchfiled support about a week ago and they still don't have it for the 09

No problem. There is also the option of buying the Toyota OEM panel that comes with the OEM Nav option as mentioned above. The only drawback to that is we still don't know if it will fit properly and it costs almost $200 yikes
