'09 Matrix S(5spd Man) Optimal Shift Points?

I was wondering, like the title states, if anyone has figured out the optimal shifting points for a 5 Speed Manual Matrix S. Everything I have is stock for now and I just go the car two days ago. Coming from a '03 Hyundai Accent the transmission adjustment is pretty awkward . I love the car though, it's amazing. I just want to make sure I don't mess up my transmission.

Driving normally I change gears about 3k rpm, when I drive it like I stole it I'll change gears between 4-5k...... I don't think there is much of a problem change gears wherever is comfortable for you. You've got a 3 year bumper to bumper so if anything goes wrong it should be covered.

I do not believe 'wear and tear' items are covered under warranty ... ex. brakes and clutches ...

I may be wrong.

I don't think a transmission is a wear item

That's good to know. I guess that's just 3 year or 36k or maybe covered under the 5 year powertrain warranty?

Time to burn some rubber

i have a Corolla XRS with the same engine and tranny, all i can tell you is that you must shift super duper early it seems, compared to say an RX-8.
