Yep, not my car but finally something new
It's a nice car overall tho... It's the base 1.8L automatic and she likes it.
Anyhow, I know nothing about the latest matrix and i'm here to learn and I have a few questions... Since the car is new, she WON'T hear of me modding anything
But, I've talked to her about a possible SRI or cold air intake. I found since installing the SRI on my kia, it's boosted the gas mileage nicely (currently 38 in city - no idea about hiway).
Does anyone know if getting the car to breath better will up the mileage at all? The stock airbox in mine was the pits but to be honest, I never looked at hers at all. Is this something that'll void the warranty in canada or should it be done at a dealer...?
I noticed a couple of MPG threads on here... Her first tank went about 350 kms - not great but since getting on the hiway it's been better. She's heading for 600 km's to the tank, combined city/hiway which isn't too bad. She'll probably get 500 km's to a tank in the city but she doesn't drive hard at all.
