Anyone know how to get a hold of the unit for the Sat ready stereo? The basic unit has the button, is there another piece to buy or should I just go with the external unit for the simplest soloution?

check out that thread. Sirius or XM ? either way you can do it yourself and save $ over the dealer install prices.

I agree. Check out Crutchfield or something too. Most companies now make direct vehicle adapters to add Sat Radio to a new car yourself without cutting or splicing anything.
