I'm just about to buy my 2009 Matrix and I'm wondering what everyone is paying for their ride and or what was 'thrown' in with the car purchase? I'm guessing it depends on the location but it still may be worth sharing with others. Thanks.
I just got a 2009 Matrix S about 2 weeks ago. I payed $21,575 for it. It had the moonroof, JBL 6 cd changer with 9 speakers and bluetooth, 17 inch rims, etc. It basically had everything except the rear spoiler and leather seats.
Bought my 2010 S AWD in July 2011, it had only 300 miles on it. Saw it on Cars.com it was about 90 miles from my home at a Toyota dealership and it was a Toyota Certified Pre-owned. Paid $19,900, it came with side door moldings, factory roof rack, All-weather pkg, Sport pkg and Power pkg. I added front mudflaps, rear bumper protector and the RS3200 alarm system. Plus bought a 7 year 100,000 mile comprehensive warranty (Platinum service warranty). So it came to about $21,500

Oh well, you were taken. You could have bought a Scion Xb for less money or even the very similar Pontiac Vibe and saved a lot.

Actually it was the Vibe that got me interested in the Matrix. A friend of mine has a Vibe, I liked the body style but since my previous car was a '98 Chevy Prizm (Toyota Corolla) with 220,000 on it. I wanted to stick with the Toyota reputation
