Yippee Got my First Speeding Ticket on 8/8/8

Maybe he just pulled me because he liked the Sundance Color - he asked me 'is this a Toyota?' in a kind of suprised voice.

Haha details...how fast were you going??? the Sundance definatlly does attract attention I must admit.

The trooper gave me a citation for 61 in a 45. I have a court date at the end of the month.

So far I plan on showing up early and pleading to a lesser speed (if I try to get it down to 9pmh over) or PJC prayer for judgement contiunued. That way keep if off my insurance.

yeah that would definatlly effect the insurance. Ive been pritty lucky so far with police staying off my back.

ok, end of the month, 9pm, down a main highway against a eclipse... i had gottn to 90 and i know the cops sit at the next two overpasses...
well i had gottn down to 65 before i came up around the turn, and down to 60. the eclipse had gottn off at that exit, so i decided to just turn around an go home at the next light. i got into the turn lane and stopped at the light. after about a minuite, i looked in my rear-view... cop...
AAAARRRRRRG! i knew he was for me.
dont know how he got me... i was way down before i hit the turn.
he clocked me at 78 in a 55...
$160 ticket + 4 points =SCREWED

My advice is slow down and get a radar detector! LoL save the racing for the track.

yeah... i know. ive been doing good.. not "racing" anyone since...
but i would like to find a track somewhere around here. i just moved to arizona at the begining of the month.
and as far as Radar Detectors.. a Valentine One is the only way to go if you do get one. NOT CHEAP!

and the cops out here.. have detectors that scan 5 miles in front, to the side, and to the back of them... talk about S.O.L.
