Awesome. I heard that they only lower 1.5 inches? I was hoping for more of a drop then that.

Yeah I seen it. It looks sick. Makes the car look so much better, doesnt even matter if it is stock or not. With time I guess their will be springs and coilovers that will give more of a drop.

the TRD springs drops .5" in the front and 1.5" in the back. these springs will not require a change to the struts. for 200 bucks...i'd rather have a bigger drop in the front. a half inch is like lowering your tire pressure, not worth it. the rear however is a decent height drop compared to the front.

Wow thats even worse. I would NOT want a boat look it would have from the rear being lower then the front. I would rather the raked look, especally because the Matrix is a wagon.

Like you said, .5 is basically nothing, you can get that from letting air out of your tires. Stock stuts should hold up fine. I lowered my old 98 Accord 1.5 all around (gave it the boat look, should of went 2' in the front) 2 years ago and it is still going fine with the stock, 10 year old struts.

The Matrix seems to have alot of wheel gap, I think a 2' all around, or at least 2' in the front and 1.5' in the rear would make it look right. Around here you cant slam my car because of roads, or I think it would even look better lower then that. Not to mention the handling benifits you gain. I assume it would be like night and day with the Matrix because it is a tall wagon.

C'mon aftermarket manufactors, we are waiting!!

-Josh

because the rear sits higher than the front. if you look at the wheel gap between the front and the rear you'll notice the rear has a bigger gap than the front. the reason for a more dramastic drop in the rear is because once its done the car will look leveled and it wont look like the nose is angled to the floor or angled up.

heres the actual print out i have from work for you guys to read. it'll have everything i mentioned as well as part # and price.

Wow that's a great picture! That is quite a mark up but big deal I'm sure you can get them for less than MSRP. So they will fit the Base model and S, cool.
