I just did the headlights, it appears you did the fog lights as well? I kind of like the contrast in color from the stock fog lights and the HID.

yeah that's true. high beams are usually used to flash people, but if you ever need to drive with them on then yeah you'd get them warm enough to output full light.

i dont know yet, im still on the fence about the third hid kit. we'll see.

yes, i did the fogz. just so you know, they are completely white in person. it's just the pictures that they come out looking different and contrasting.

I wouldnt do that... most mfg's dont put them in the hb because you normally only use your hi's for short periods of time or to *flash* traffic.
it will cause you to burn out the ballasts... quickly.

4300k is as close to sun light as you can get.. 6000-8000k turns the light blue & actually diminishes light output, so you end up w/ less usable light on the road.
also, as a side note, u.s. spec lights throw more glare w/ a hid kit retro'd into them. a "euro" spec light would be best... if only they were available. (its due to the reflector & bevelled glass used. our DOT is literally in the dark ages compared to Europe.)

when we do mine it will be 4300-4500 in lo's only & a ultra bright yellow replacement for the fogs. (yellow light [or a lower kelvin] cuts thru fog better than white light)

better yet...do it right and retrofit actual oem projectors into the stock headlights to make use of the HID's w/o blinding people =) i'm having my headlights retrofited with fx35 bixenon projectors so i can have HID high beams and regular halogen high beams i think people who get colored hid lights are in for looks rather than performance.

Did you tint the windshield? If so where and for how much. I took it so a tint place in Hollywood and they refused to tint mine.

good point. it IS the best option.
too bad the aftermarket (or Toyota themselves) dont make a projector hl for our cars. would solve the issue of having to retrofit anything.

If your car takes 2 bulbs one for high and one for low i would suggest not putting them in the high unless ur low beams stay on when u put ur high beams on. If not u will be with out lights for a few sec
