Hey guys, just bought a 09 matrix, White 1.8L Touring B package is what its called here in Canada.
I'm wondering if anyone has any pics of tint on a white matrix? This one as the white door sills so I'm worried that it wont look clean with tint on it. So if you guys have any pics please post them up or link me.
Looks way better with tint for sure. I know you want to have pics but seriously there's no way your car wont look way better WITH tint. Get it done and stop thinking about it.

haha true that, It will be done the first month forsure, before spring 100%. If I think it looks good as is, I'll leave it, if not I"ll black out the doors between the windows. Seen the xr's and they look sweat. Think its stupid they painted them, waste of money.
Oh I didnt know it was a lease. Its a good idea to get it done, and you could always put vinal on it if you want. I dont understand why they wasted their money on painting it like you said. I was actually supposed to end up with a 1.8 touring as well and didnt realize that it was painted haha, guess the XR was ment to be with me. Just curious with your user name, what car did you have before your trix? I had a 98 Accord V6.
np if this was not a lease I would have already ordered an intake, or in the process of making up a custom one, and ordered that intake that people have been talking about...and looked into a header and exhaust.
But its a lease and worst of all its an AUTO!!!! ya sucks but my GF needs to drive it too and shes just not going to learn standard, I've tired. Found some siiick rims, I'll post up in a bit. Been looking at the matrix for a few months now looking forward to getting it on weds.
AHH auto, the one and ONLY reason I have the Matrix was because my old Accord was auto. Ive been teaching my girlfriend to drive it, but its not her thing. She doesnt feel comfortable driving standard. I also want an intake, people order an intake for the Scion XB or TC with the 2.4 and it seems to fit allright. Im going to do suspension first though, Matrices are wayy to high for me stock, and I miss having a lowered car. I just gotta worry about voiding warrenty, although an intake is easy to convert back to stock.

ya would have loved the 2.4 but I needed something that gets alright mileage, and the 2.4 was more $ too. Ya been reading about the scion intake fitting, I would get one of them forsure. Mainly for the mileage increase.
yes auto sucks, but I still have my crx for fun. Only good thing about auto is when i'm in toronto traffic I wont get to pissed off.

Yes I will have to admit, the milage in the city blows with the 2.4. I was originally ready to get the 1.8 touring in magnetic grey, but I got offered the 2.4 from another dealer for the same price but only in the Sundance color because it was on their lot. I had an intake on my old Accord and you do get better milage and the sound is definatly worth it. I hear you about the standard in the city, when I visited Toronto I missed my auto haha. I would love to have a secondary car for fun, but college is expensive
Anyways good luck with your trix, what would you be tinting it to? I have limo(5%) on the rears and 35% on the fronts, and I will be tinting the upper half of the windshield soon (for some reason Toyota didnt give us the UV stip up on top, so when the sun is going down you cant see a thing). If I could go back I would of definatly tint the front to at least 20%, even though it is illegal in Ontario. Just looks way to light compared to the rear windows.

I'm thinking 35% all around, I have 35% on the front of my crx and 5% in the back and I can't see a thing. I want it dark but just dark enough so you can still see an out line of the person but not there face.
Ya I'm done school for a while now, but I've had my CRX since 2nd year. Your lucky to have a nice new car while still in school. My first car, a another CRX was a sh it box, but still fun to have.
