Adding Power Locks to '09 Matrix

I have an '09 Matrix with NO factory power package. Does anyone know how much of the power system comes on the car? Specifically, control system, wiring to the doors.

I took off the back hatch cover. The connector for the lock has 4 wires going to it. There are 2 small wires that I assume are to tell the computer if the trunk is open. There are also 2 larger wires that are not connected to anything. It looks like a power lock actuator could simply be taken out of a junkyard car and plugged in. I'd just like to find out what's on the control side of that wire without ripping my whole car apart.

Thanks in advance

I imagine it's going to be similar to adding fog lights. As well as the actuators you'll probably need a relay and the switch - I imagine the other end of the wires ends up in the driver door where the control panel would plug in. I pretty sure it also goes through the main ECU as I think you can program the door See if you can track down username jeff lange he's a toyota tech and pretty knowledable on these cars......I imagine it's going to be expensive if you also need to hook up keyless entry?

But I bet most of the wiring harness is already in the car.

you need to replace the actual door latch on the inside of the doors. i checked the price for one the other day and it was 232.00 with my discount. their cable driven systems so you can't jump onto them with a traditional aftermarket power locking system. sucks.
