Finally 09 Matrix Lowering Springs--

I found some Matrix lowering springs that lowers the font by 1.8 and rear by 1.5 inches in case anyone has been looking for some. Follow the following link....

There are several brands of lowering springs for the 09 Matrix but none made for the XRS or AWD models. I have an XRS and with the advice of another XRS owner used the H tech TEIN springs which lowered me over 2 inches. Stiffer ride but that's the price you pay.

I had the Htechs installed around 1000 miles ago on my 09 XRS 2.4 with the independent double wishbone rear. It dropped my trix a good 2 inches or more and it was a hard ride. My shocks are settled in nice now and the ride is much smoother and of course it takes the turns so much flatter and faster. I was worried about possible problems but there hasn't been any except for the hard install for the rear which involved disconnecting the sway bar first. Very pleased with the ride and look.

There are a few people who have used the 1st gen springs on the 2nd gen. None have reported any problems. The 1st Gen Eibach Prokits offers a great drop on the 2nd gens. About 1.8 inches, doesnt get really stiff since they're progressive rate and doesnt let the ride go hard. Driving and cornering is just more fun on a lowered car.
