My first post & I think I can help you. Just had to go into the tailights for trailer wiring on my 2010 Vibe. I don't see any difference in the lites of the two cars. Pop off inside rear access covers. If you have large hands, this may be nearly impossible to do. It is a VERY tight area to work in , but you use a flashlite to look around & see 3 thin , long studs with a nut on them. One, also has a wiring harness clamp. Pull the wiring harness clamp straight off by using pliers. It is just snapped over the threads. Then, using a 10mm wrench, or deep socket, place on the nuts & loosen. Mine were barely tight. Remove all 3 nuts,, YES, it is tight in there, & push from inside, wiggle from ouside to get the tailight out. I had one hand pushing inside & one outside. BE CAREFUL that you don't scratch the paint. You may find that unplugging driver's side rear harness & removing bulbs helps a little. Right side tailite is not nearly as hard to do as there is more room to work. I don't think that the outer lens separate from the entire shell. If this is your main reason for wanting to know about this, just try the passenger side, first, ' cause it is much easier.

A tip !
If you have large hands & cannot do this, a young kid could reach in there without any trouble. Have used " child labor " before on such jobs ! LOL
